Seedfield Studios is an independent intellectual-property development and production company co-founded by filmmakers Michelle A. Daniel and Erick McGee.
We develop original films, television series, and digital entertainment from the ground up, combining creative development, production strategy, business infrastructure, audience building, and long-term monetization planning.
Our work begins with a story, but it does not end when the project is released. We build with the bigger picture in mind: ownership, expansion, revenue, and legacy.
Whether developing our own growing slate or helping another creator structure theirs, Seedfield Studios is committed to turning original ideas into valuable intellectual property that can be produced, owned, monetized, and expanded.
Our mission is to develop meaningful, commercially viable intellectual property while creating pathways for filmmakers and creators to own their work, generate opportunities, and build long-term wealth through storytelling.
We want creators to do more than contribute their talent to someone else's vision. We want them to have the structure, strategy, and support needed to build a body of work, and a creative business, of their own.
We are building a studio where original ideas can become films, television series, digital platforms, brands, and valuable intellectual property.
Our vision is to create and launch independently owned stories that can reach audiences, generate revenue, create opportunities, and grow beyond a single release.
A story may begin as one script, but with the right foundation, it can become a series, a franchise, a digital community, a licensed property, or the beginning of an entire production slate. That is what we are building at Seedfield Studios.
Creators should understand what they own, what they are building, and how their work can create value beyond its initial release.
We believe in developing original concepts that can grow into films, television series, digital productions, brands, franchises, and other long-term opportunities.
We create stories with something to say, stories that entertain, connect with audiences, reflect culture, and leave an impact.
A compelling idea needs more than creativity. We believe projects should be supported by clear plans, professional materials, proper business structures, and sustainable strategies.
Great projects are built through collaboration. We value the writers, directors, producers, performers, crew members, and partners who help bring each vision to life.
We are not interested in producing one project and stopping there. We build with the intention of creating future seasons, new formats, additional revenue streams, and continued opportunities.
Our goal is to contribute meaningful stories to the culture while creating paid opportunities, ownership, and wealth within the filmmaking community.
We believe in building responsibly, communicating honestly, respecting creative contributions, and protecting the integrity of every project.
Seedfield Studios brings together Michelle's strength in television development, producing, series building, business strategy, and project launches with Erick's strengths in directing, visual storytelling, casting, talent, and creative execution. Together, they develop projects from the earliest idea through production, launch, and long-term growth.
Michelle A. Daniel is an executive producer, screenwriter, and showrunner with 17 years of experience across television, film, and digital media.
Her work has centered heavily on developing, producing, launching, and growing television and digital series. Her background includes work connected to TV One, Bossip, Headline Heat, iOne Creative Class, MadameNoire, and the independently produced series Between Women. She has also built and operated a six-figure subscription-video platform, giving her firsthand experience in turning original programming into a sustainable digital business.
Michelle understands that creating a television series requires more than writing episodes or completing production. It requires a defined audience, a strong business foundation, a launch plan, revenue opportunities, and a long-term vision for how the property can grow.
Erick McGee is a director, executive producer, and screenwriter focused on discovering compelling ideas and shaping them into visually engaging productions.
At Seedfield Studios, Erick helps lead directing, casting, talent relationships, project acquisition, visual development, and creative execution. He brings a director's perspective to the studio's intellectual-property development process, helping ensure that each project is not only strategically built but also emotionally compelling and visually distinct.
His approach is rooted in authentic storytelling, strong performances, and creating work that connects with audiences.
We created Seedfield Studios because we believe a powerful idea should have the opportunity to become more than a completed project. It should become something its creator can own, grow, monetize, and pass forward.
Too many talented creators have ideas, scripts, and unfinished projects but lack the structure, resources, business foundation, or roadmap needed to move them forward. Others help build successful productions without ever building intellectual property of their own.
We want Seedfield Studios to help change that.
We are developing original films, television series, and digital productions that we can build into lasting assets. We are also creating pathways for other filmmakers and creators to better understand how to structure, launch, and grow their own work.
Our goal is not simply to make content. It is to build a studio, create independently owned intellectual property, open doors for other creatives, and establish a legacy our family and community can continue building upon.
We are planting stories today that can grow into productions, businesses, opportunities, and generational wealth tomorrow.
Whether you have the beginning of an idea, a completed script, or a project preparing for production, Seedfield Studios can help you determine what it needs to become production-ready, ownership-focused, and positioned for long-term growth. Bring us the idea. We'll help you build the path forward.
