Your gift supports Seedfield Studios' fiscally sponsored film and television projects, from early development through production, launch, and release. Every donation goes directly toward getting a story from the page to the screen.
A donation to a Seedfield project isn't a general contribution to the studio. It's directed support for the specific film you choose, covering the real costs of getting it made.
Script development, casting, and the early groundwork that turns an idea into a shootable production.
Crew, equipment, locations, and the day-to-day costs of actually shooting the project.
Postproduction, marketing, and distribution prep so the finished film actually reaches an audience.
Give directly to an eligible Seedfield project through its official nonprofit fiscal sponsor. Your contribution helps cover development, cast and crew, equipment, locations, postproduction, marketing, and distribution.
Recommend a grant from your Donor-Advised Fund to an eligible fiscally sponsored project. Let us know which production you'd like to support, and we'll provide the fiscal-sponsor information your DAF administrator needs.

Companies and organizations can support a production through financial sponsorship or donated goods and services, locations, equipment, travel, food, or wardrobe. Benefits are based on contribution level and creative fit.
The short version: fiscal sponsorship lets you give a tax-deductible donation to an independent film project, even though the project itself isn't a nonprofit.
Fiscal sponsorship is an arrangement where an established nonprofit organization agrees to accept and manage donations on behalf of a film project. Because the project is "fiscally sponsored" by that nonprofit, donors can make tax-deductible contributions even though Seedfield Studios itself is not a nonprofit.
Donations to a specific project are used for that project's approved production expenses, which may include development, cast and crew, equipment, locations, postproduction, marketing, and distribution preparation.
A Donor-Advised Fund is a charitable giving account, typically set up through a financial institution, that lets you recommend grants to nonprofit causes over time. If you have a DAF, you can recommend a grant to one of our fiscally sponsored projects. Contact us and we'll provide the fiscal sponsor's information for your DAF administrator.
Tax-deductible contributions are processed through the nonprofit fiscal sponsor listed for the project you're supporting. Seedfield Studios is not representing that every payment made directly to the studio is tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor about your individual contribution.
These are three different things. A donation does not provide ownership or financial returns. A sponsorship purchases promotional benefits or brand exposure. An investment may involve financial returns, securities laws, contracts, and legal review. We use the term "donation" only for gifts that don't come with ownership or return expectations.
Yes. Donations are directed to the specific project you choose. Pick a project below, or contact us if you'd like to support a production that isn't currently listed as eligible for donations.
Both of these are currently eligible for donations through their fiscal sponsor. Tap a project to donate directly to it.
